Finance Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Officer with experience in account payable and receivables, reconciliation, invoicing, statutory and regulatory compliance in our team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivables.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
Manage and maintain financial records, including journals, ledgers, and spreadsheets
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
Generate accurate invoices based on cash receipts from customers.
Monitor and track invoices to ensure timely payment from clients.
Maintain detailed records of invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely collection of payments.
Preparation and remittance of monthly staff PAYE deductions
Preparation and remittance of monthly staff pensions contributions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of finance/accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
