Koolboks is seeking an organized and experienced Supply Chain Inventory Manager to oversee and manage the company’s inventory, ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time, to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, streamlining supply chain operations, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless inventory management.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize inventory levels across multiple storage locations to meet operational demands and customer orders.
Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to minimize stockouts, excess stock, or obsolete inventory.
Oversee the ordering and receiving processes, ensuring that materials and products are received on time and meet quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams (logistics, procurement, and production) to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain process.
Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory management systems.
Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Use forecasting tools and demand planning data to anticipate inventory needs and optimize procurement strategies.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment accuracy, lead times, and stock accuracy.
Collaborate with the finance team to manage budget and control inventory-related costs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing or renewable energy company.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain software.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
Proven track record of managing complex inventory and supply chain operations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in inventory management.
