Office Administrator

Qualifications:

Minimum of OND in any relevant field.
Candidates must reside around the Ikeja axis.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily office operations related to cargo and shipping logistics, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Respond to inquiries from clients, carriers, and internal departments via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about shipment status, documentation, and procedures.
Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries, coordinating with drivers and carriers, and managing shipment calendars.
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a well-organized workspace for handling shipping documentation and logistics.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing shipping documents, data entry for tracking systems, document management for customs clearance, and processing invoices related to freight charges.
Collaborate with the logistics, operations, and customer service departments to ensure seamless communication and timely processing of shipments.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, client information, and carrier details, updating databases and tracking systems with relevant information.
Ensure a productive and professional office environment that supports efficient handling of cargo and shipping operations.

Skills:

Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

Previous experience in administrative roles.
