Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise for the maintenance, repair, and operation of power plant equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth power plant operations.
Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance, or engineering, preferably in a coal-fired power plant.
Strong understanding of power plant processes, equipment, and systems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Power plant retirees in Nigeria are encouraged to apply.
Added Advantage:
Experience working in a coal-fired power plant.
Familiarity with Nigerian power plant regulations and standards.
