Regional Sales Manager(FMCG)

About the job

The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, manage customer relationships, and develop strategic initiatives to expand our market presence across Lagos and the Southwest region. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the sales team’s learning and development. 

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the Southwest region, spanning Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, etc.
Identify and build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure competitive advantage.
Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, Sales Officers, and Area Sales Managers to drive productivity and performance.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain brand integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 – 12 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success within Lagos and the South-West region.
Strong regional market knowledge, including customer dynamics and distribution channels.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
