Senior Executive Procurement

Job Summary

Responsible for purchases (local & foreign), deal with Vendor negotiations and analyze trends in Vendor pricing and procurement activities to determine re-order level, supply lag and ensure value for money.

Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and service reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues or non-compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and align them with business objectives.
Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products or services.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of procurement best practices and market dynamics.
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
