Business Development Lead

The Business Development Lead will play a pivotal role in positioning Rovatel Media as a leading agency in media, branding, and marketing services, ensuring a strong market presence across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a revenue-focused business development strategy tailored to the media marketing industry.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across advertising, branding, digital marketing, creative content production, PR, and campaign management.
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiations and deal closures.
Structure competitive service packages and pricing models to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with CMOs, Brand Managers, Marketing Heads, Media Buyers, and key decision-makers across various industries.
Conduct high-level presentations and pitch meetings to showcase Rovatel Media’s capabilities and solutions.
Develop customized proposals that address specific client marketing needs, ensuring a strong value proposition.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and industry shifts in digital marketing, content creation, media planning, and advertising.
Stay updated on media buying trends, influencer marketing, performance marketing strategies, and data-driven marketing approaches.
Identify, develop, and maintain strategic alliances with media houses, influencer networks, content platforms, ad agencies, and technology partners to expand Rovatel Media’s service ecosystem.
Negotiate partnership agreements that enhance service delivery and create mutual business value.
Explore co-branded initiatives, sponsorship deals, and content syndication opportunities to strengthen Rovatel’s industry position.
Work with internal teams to develop high-impact sales enablement materials, including decks, case studies, and ROI-driven reports.
Establish a robust sales pipeline with measurable KPIs, tracking progress through CRM tools and regular reporting.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Have:

5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within the media, digital marketing, branding, PR, or advertising industry.
Strong track record of closing high-value deals and scaling business growth in the marketing/media sector.
Deep understanding of digital marketing services, creative production, content marketing, influencer marketing, social media campaigns, and media buying.
Exceptional negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business pitches.
Experience working with agencies, brands, or media companies to craft integrated marketing and advertising solutions.
Data-driven mindset with expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools.

Preferred:

Strong network of industry contacts within advertising, digital media, and corporate marketing teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, and performance-driven campaigns.
Familiarity with emerging trends in AI-driven marketing, MarTech tools, and audience engagement strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Revenue Growth: Monthly and quarterly targets for new business acquisition.
Client Acquisition Rate: Number of new brands onboarded.
Partnership Impact: Value and performance of strategic collaborations.
Proposal-to-Closure Ratio: Effectiveness of business pitches and conversions.
Client Retention & Upselling: Contribution to recurring revenue and long-term contracts.
