We are looking to engage a Business Development Analyst (French Fluent) to supports the strategic growth and expansion of Axxela’s Regional business and is responsible for market research, financial analysis and business strategy development to identify new opportunities, whilst maintaining and building existing customer relationship.
Scope of Responsibility and Accountability:
Conduct market research, industry analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities.
Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations with actionable insights for Management’s decision making.
Develop business cases and financial models for new projects.
Assist in the development of business expansion strategies, partnerships and commercial negotiations.
Support the negotiations of Gas supply Agreements and other Infrastructure projects.
Assess the profitability and risks of potential gas projects in the region.
Work closely with the Operations, Engineering and Strategy & planning to ensure project feasibility and execution.
Track regulatory/market developments and assess their impact on business operations in the region.
Support preparation of proposals reports and business cases for external stakeholders.
Liaising with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulations and risk assessment.
Maintain databases for tracking performance, market trends and key financial indicators.
Utilize Excel, Power BI and other business intelligence tools for data driven decision making.
Work with internal stakeholders to carry out physical surveys at consumer sites and energy audits feeding into the planning and design to connect new offtakers to the network.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance or a related field from a reputable tertiary institution.
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a business development, sales or strategy role within the energy sector.
Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.
