Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting personnel, goods, and materials to designated locations while ensuring vehicle maintenance and adherence to traffic regulations.
The role requires punctuality, professionalism, and excellent knowledge of road networks.
Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly for official duties.
Transport employees, clients, or goods to assigned destinations in a timely manner.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the assigned vehicle.
Keep an accurate log of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle servicing schedules.
Assist in loading and unloading goods when required.
Ensure security of passengers, goods, and the vehicle at all times.
Report any accidents, traffic violations, or other incidents promptly.
Assist in other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / NECO / WAEC
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
Physical fitness and ability to lift moderate loads.
