Summary
The Security Officer will be instrumental in safeguarding the organization’s staff, assets, infrastructure, and guests by implementing proactive surveillance measures, regulating entry and exit points, mitigating potential risks, and rigorously upholding established security policies.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards. Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative work environment. Monitor budget allocations, track expenditures, and provide detailed financial reports to senior management. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication and alignment with business objectives.
Oversee and control entry to company facilities, permitting access exclusively to those with proper authorization for restricted zones.
Perform regular patrols and security inspections to proactively detect and mitigate potential security threats.
Accurately document all visitor logs, incidents, and security-related occurrences to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Handle security incidents, breaches, emergencies, and safety concerns with urgency and efficiency to ensure rapid resolution and mitigation of risks.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, security threats, or irregular activities to management promptly.
Consistently uphold and apply the organization’s established security policies, procedures, and access control measures to safeguard company assets and information.
Assist with the execution of safety protocols and contribute to emergency preparedness and response efforts.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years’ experience in project management, proficient in Agile methodologies and familiar with tools such as Jira or Trello. The ideal applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Earned a Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) credential or an equivalent qualification.
Relevant background in a security-related position will be favorably considered.
Exceptional observational abilities are essential, coupled with proficiency in meticulously recording and communicating incidents.
