Job description
The Organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of accounting, audit, and financial experience, with a strong background in international accounting and transactions. This role requires a young, vibrant professional who is proficient with accounting software and flexible with work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Audit: Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Develop and implement audit plans and strategies.
International Transactions: Handle international financial transactions, including currency conversions, international invoicing, and compliance with global financial regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and implementation of budgets. Monitor and report on variances between actuals and forecasts.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax regulations. Prepare and submit tax filings accurately and on time.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Software Proficiency: Utilize various accounting software to perform accounting tasks. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and financial reporting.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure financial policies and procedures are understood and followed. Support financial decision-making across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting, audit, and financial experience.
Strong experience with international accounting and transactions.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility with work hours to meet business needs.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA,ICAN) is a must.
