Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Specialist with a background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge on electrical components, be proficient in interpreting technical drawings, and be conversant with electrical data sheets.
Additionally, the candidate must be a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or possess the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert technical support and guidance on electrical/electronic products.
Interpret and analyze electrical data sheets, specifications, and product documentation.
Review and interpret technical drawings.
Assist in the selection and recommendation of electrical components for new and existing products.
Work closely with the product development team to ensure product specifications align with industry standards and client requirements.
Provide feedback on product design improvements and troubleshooting, ensuring optimum functionality and performance.
Conduct technical presentations and product training for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product-related issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Membership in the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or COREN
Strong knowledge of electrical and technical components, electrical data sheets, and technical drawings.
Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and specifications.
Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic products, including design, testing, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to propose and implement effective technical solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
