About the job
The Asset Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the company’s asset portfolio(Generators, Vehicles, Aerial Fiber), ensuring accurate valuation, and effective utilization of all assets.
The Officer will alsbe tasked with risk management, compliance with regulations, and optimizing asset profitability. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and insurance providers, tensure proper allocation, maintenance, and protection of assets.
Key Responsibilities
Complete analysis and take inventory of company assets
Liaise with Asset Valuers tensure accurate accounting, and risk management tprevent fraud and losses
Collaborate with Supply chain management tkeep track of the allocation of assets
Ensure that all records are up tdate, accurate, and maintained. Monthly
Assisting with the development of the forecast budgets and producing reports on the same.
Assisting with maximizing profitability tensure that assets are maintained by due dates
Liaise with insurance companies tensure compliance with regulations
Supervise and manage subordinates as required.
Provide advice tsenior management, especially the Director, Regional Operations, on infrastructure priorities, equipment scheduling, and policy matters.
Ensure all newly acquired assets are logged, tagged and tracked properly from the point of procurement.
Fleet management
Oversee repairs and maintenance of motor vehicle
Prepare servicing schedules and ensure all vehicles are serviced as at when due
Distribution and Maintenance of Vehicles tmeet Demand
Prepare a weekly roster for drivers
Monitor and retire all fueling activities that have tdwith Operations
Insurance of Company assets
Assist in insurance claims processing, investigation and documentation
Identify and analyze risks associated with present Company’s insurance policy and propose improvement ideas tthe HCS
Assist in insurance of All company asset ( insurance cover against fraud, theft and damages)
Asset management
Account for value of all company’s assets
Maintain accurate and up tdate collated asset register.
Contact the FSE’s monthly for timely submission of asset register in their various POPs.
Track and verify information submitted by the FSE’s
Submission of Weekly Report which includes the following
Asset Register
Vehicle Register
Maintenance Register
Driver Records.
Qualifications
Academic and Education Background
Bachelors degree in Telecommunication Engineering or any related field
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5 years similar work experience of which one should have been in a managerial capacity
