Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Officer located in Lagos Island. The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, overseeing finance activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
Manage cash flow, monitor bank accounts, and ensure timely reconciliations.
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Provide financial analysis and advice to the management team as needed.

Qualifications
Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
Analytical Skills
Finance expertise
Strong communication skills
Experience in the food industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Excel, Oddo).
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAN or similar) or willingness to pursue professional qualifications.
