Job Summary
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes and ensuring optimal performance in all aspects of production.
You will play a key role in driving continuous improvements in production efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with a focus on food manufacturing, combined with exceptional problem-solving skills and leadership ability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Develop and implement processes and systems to increase production efficiency and minimize downtime.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Lead and manage a team of production engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food quality standards, and environmental requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in the production lines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with company goals and industry best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Manage the implementation of new technologies or processes to enhance production capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of production systems, machinery, and engineering processes.
Experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
