Learning & Development Officer

Responsibilities

Assist in the coordination of TNA in collaboration with departments and align outcomes with training plans.
Source training vendors for approved trainings
Facilitate the design and delivery of training programs, including virtual and inperson sessions.
Manage logistics for learning interventions (venue, materials, participants).
Monitor and evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure continuous improvement.
Support the documentation of compliance-related training requirements.
File training programs with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
Communicate training schedules and details to nominated employees.
Liaise with external vendors to source training programs that meet organizational needs.
Review and vet training presentations and materials to ensure relevance and quality. ▪ Support in the coordination of onboarding programmes
Assist in the development and effectively communicate a learning strategy for the organisation and provide an annual learning plan that supports this strategy.
Evaluate existing learning programs, make recommendations for change, and upon approval, implement these change

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification
Proven experience in L&D (minimum 2–3 years).
Strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools.
Strong stakeholder management.
