Job Summary

We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Sales Coordinator/Sales Manager to spearhead the growth and expansion of our pre-owned construction and mining equipment business across Nigeria and other West African markets.

We seek a candidate who is currently located within the region, demonstrating a proven ability to successfully market both new and pre-owned heavy equipment across multiple continents and adjacent markets.

A dynamic position ideal for an independent, proactive professional who excels in a high-energy, entrepreneurial setting.

Oversee and execute all operational activities to ensure seamless daily functioning, including coordinating staff schedules, managing workflow processes, and resolving any arising issues promptly. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance with organizational standards. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental objectives with broader business goals. Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate key insights to senior leadership. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Leverage direct sales initiatives, dealer networks, and strategic partnerships to expand the market reach and enhance the sales performance of used construction and mining equipment throughout the designated region.

Proactively uncover new business prospects, explore untapped markets, and cultivate emerging customer segments across the designated territory.

Foster enduring partnerships with contractors, mining enterprises, commodity traders, and fleet operators.

Comfortable with extensive regional travel to engage with clients, participate in industry events, and identify emerging business opportunities.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Additionally, excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset are required to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experienced professionals with a proven track record of 5 to 10 years in the sales sector, specifically in used construction or mining equipment, are sought after.

With a well-established presence and extensive connections spanning multiple continents within pertinent industries, you will have ample opportunities to leverage these relationships to drive strategic initiatives and foster impactful collaborations.
