What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the sales process for residential, commercial, and luxury properties from initial inquiry to successful closing.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and guidance.
Provide expert advice on market trends, pricing, and investment opportunities.
Negotiate offers, contracts, and sales terms to maximize client satisfaction and business success.
Create and execute marketing strategies to attract new buyers and investors to the properties you’re representing.
Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve sales tactics and client outreach.

Proven experience in real estate sales, with a strong track record in residential, commercial, and/or luxury properties.
Strong negotiation skills and a customer-centric approach to sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients from all walks of life.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
In-depth knowledge of the local property market and the latest industry trends.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Sales Targets & Revenue Generation
Achieve a specific monthly or quarterly sales target (e.g., sell X number of properties or generate a specific sale revenue).
Focus on a mix of residential, commercial, and luxury properties to ensure well-rounded sales performance.
Client Acquisition & Retention
Successfully onboard a set number of new clients each month (e.g., a target of X new clients per month).
Maintain high client retention rates by fostering strong relationships and ensuring repeat business or referrals.
Conversion Rate
Achieve a high conversion rate from leads to closed deals. For example, maintain a 20%-30% conversion rate (depending on market conditions).
Market Knowledge & Research
Conduct at least X hours per week of market research, ensuring you’re up to date with property trends in Abuja, and competitors’ offerings.
Regularly update and adjust property listings based on market dynamics.
Customer Satisfaction & Reviews
Aim for positive feedback and customer reviews, achieving at least an 80-90% satisfaction rate from clients, through surveys or testimonials.
Networking & Lead Generation
Generate X new leads per week through networking, social media engagement, and strategic marketing initiatives.
Attend a set number of local events or property expos to increase visibility and meet potential buyers.
Property Marketing & Advertising
Ensure all properties listed are advertised on relevant online platforms and local channels, with a goal of attracting X number of inquiries per listing.
Team Collaboration
Actively participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with the marketing team, ensuring properties are well-promoted and positioned.
Qualifications for the Role:
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in real estate sales, preferably with exposure to residential, commercial, and luxury properties. Experience working within the Abuja real estate market is a plus. Familiarity with Nigerian real estate regulations and legal processes is a plus.
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
Additional certifications in real estate or sales management will be an advantage.
Skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
Ability to use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales pipelines.
A deep understanding of Abuja’s property market, pricing trends, and regulatory landscape.
Personal Traits
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results.
Knowledge of Local Market
Familiarity with the diverse neighborhoods, zoning laws, and the real estate landscape of Abuja, including key commercial and residential areas.
Additional Desirable Traits:
A professional network in Abuja or the wider Nigerian property market would be a significant advantage.
Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of local languages (e.g., Hausa, Pidgin) can be beneficial in establishing rapport with diverse clients.
