Our client is a Nigeria’s top financial intermediary and equipment leasing firm, offers flexible leasing, loan financing, and financial planning. Due to expansion, our client is in need of a Talent Acquisition & Engagement Executive.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs.
Source for potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
Screening and selecting suitably qualified candidates for different roles by conducting both phone and face-2-face/video interviews for prospective hires.
Sourcing for and engaging candidates both for immediate talent need and the talent pipeline through different channel.
Thorough screening of prospective hire through interviews.
Ensuring positive candidate experience and maintaining positive communication with prospective hire.
Working with Line Managers to develop Job Descriptions for job roles, to aid hiring needs
Working to drive traffic to the career portal continuously.
Assigning candidates on the Career portal to line manager for phone interviews.
Leverage different channels to create and sustain employee dialogue towards engagement.
Sourcing, screening and selecting qualified candidates for all senior/top level roles (or any other roles) by
combining a range of methods (e.g. structured interviews, assessments and behavioral questions).
Attending job fairs and recruitment events.
Participating in conferences and meet-ups to network with various professionals.
Participating in exit interviews.
Networking with potential candidates to promote employer brand, attract professionals and reduce hiring timelines.
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews techniques.
Periodically provide trainings and guidelines for assigned team member/s
Monitor and ensure optimal performance of all recruitment activities and platforms both at the front end (career portal) and back end.
Provide a bi-weekly report of all unit member’s activities, as well as other required periodic report
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3-5 years post-graduation experience with cognitive experience in full life-cycle talent acquisition.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or any other related field. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Additional qualification and recognized professional certification (e.g. CIPD, CIPM, PHRi, SPHRi) will be a plus.
Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. Github)
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to utilize advanced and unique sourcing techniques to identify talent.
Goal and result oriented with good leadership skills.
Strong Strategic thinking and Problem-solving
