Accurate financial records must be maintained, and all transactions must be meticulously documented to ensure compliance and transparency.
Compiling and submitting financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking and analysis.
Responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable activities.
Responsible for reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy and for overseeing cash flow to maintain financial stability, verifying all transactions and discrepancies as part of regular financial oversight duties.
Ensuring the timely completion and accurate processing of financial transactions remains a critical responsibility, requiring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established deadlines.
Aiding in the compilation of budgets and monitoring of expenditures
Ensuring adherence to established financial policies and procedures is a key responsibility of this role.
Facilitating audits and supplying relevant financial records upon request is a core responsibility of this role.
Overseeing discrepancies in financial records and ensuring accurate reporting are critical responsibilities of this role.
Assigned accounting tasks and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with directives from senior management. Additional accounting functions may be undertaken as required to support operational and financial objectives.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, along with proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. The ideal applicant must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. Additionally, the position requires a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of two to four years of demonstrated experience in an accounting or finance capacity is required.
Possesses a comprehensive grasp of foundational accounting principles and methodologies, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Proven expertise in utilizing accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
Requires exceptional precision, meticulous focus, and strong organizational capabilities to ensure flawless execution of tasks.
Exceptional analytical skills and aptitude for solving complex problems are essential requirements for this role.
Proven capability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations while consistently delivering results within established deadlines.
Individuals must possess strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with a capacity to build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. They should demonstrate tact, professionalism, and emotional intelligence in interactions, ensuring clarity, mutual respect, and productive dialogue in all professional settings.
Professional certification, such as ICAN or ARCA, is highly beneficial.
