We seek an accomplished ESG Researcher to contribute to an interdisciplinary Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) analysis focusing on Nigeria’s oil sector.
Oversee and deliver primary responsibilities including managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and spearheading strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth. Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity across departments. Develop and implement policies to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and performance while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data to identify trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans.
Conduct thorough research and detailed data analysis focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
Conduct in-depth analysis of industry reports, regulatory policies, and pertinent scholarly literature to extract critical insights and trends.
Develop comprehensive research reports, succinct briefs, and polished presentations of the highest quality.
Facilitate effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and timely delivery of key objectives.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Sustainability, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Demonstrates a strong background in executing ESG, sustainability, governance, and policy research initiatives within Nigeria.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas sector, including its regulatory framework, operational dynamics, and market trends.
Skilled in conducting thorough research, analyzing complex data, and crafting detailed reports with precision and clarity.
Demonstrates strong self-management skills and consistently delivers tasks within established timeframes.
The position requires on-site attendance at the designated workplace.
