Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee operational processes, manage project execution, and ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will bring engineering or Quantity Surveying (QS) expertise to deliver effective solutions while optimizing business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, ensuring proper planning, execution, and monitoring.
Lead site assessments, recommend solutions, and ensure timely project delivery.
Optimize resource utilization and operational strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with external partners, including suppliers and contractors.
Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training programs.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare operational reports and analyze data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in construction or related fields.
Strong project management skills and technical knowledge of pumps and groundwater control.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Preferred Attributes:
Familiarity with dewatering techniques and equipment.
Client-focused mindset with a history of delivering quality results.
Knowledge of Nigerian regulatory standards for construction and groundwater services
