Job Purpose
The Assistant Security Supervisor plays a key role in collaborating with the Security Supervisor to oversee and manage daily security operations, safeguarding personnel, visitors, assets, facilities, and sensitive company information. This position involves aiding in the supervision of security staff, enforcing established security policies and protocols, monitoring access control systems, addressing incidents promptly, and ensuring adherence to organizational security standards.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing critical operational, strategic, and administrative functions essential to achieving organizational objectives. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, while maintaining strict adherence to established timelines and budgetary constraints. Develop and implement innovative policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry regulations. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through effective leadership, mentorship, and performance management. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive informed decision-making that supports long-term growth and sustainability. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate clear communication, alignment of goals, and resolution of high-priority issues.
Review and oversee the duty roster to ensure seamless deployment of outsourced security personnel to their assigned posts upon their return to duty.
Maintain vigilant oversight of assigned areas to proactively prevent theft, sabotage, espionage, and damage resulting from human actions or natural events.
Perform consistent beat patrols to verify that contracted security personnel adhere to their assigned duties in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Ensure strict control over outgoing items, permitting none to leave the factory without proper authorization, and prevent unauthorized individuals or goods from entering the premises.
Immediately report any security breaches occurring within the factory premises to the Supervisor of Safety and Security.
Our team is responsible for warmly greeting and professionally guiding new employees, visitors, guests, and contractors, ensuring they are courteously welcomed and safely escorted to the appropriate office or department for their intended visit.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation across all sites by systematically reviewing beat registers, recording observations, and providing actionable recommendations for enhancements.
Promptly address all security emergencies, compiling and submitting comprehensive situation reports, along with detailed handovers at the conclusion of each duty shift to facilitate appropriate follow-up actions.
Facilitate close coordination with third-party security providers and cargo loading supervisors or clerks to maintain uninterrupted vehicular traffic flow and optimal parking arrangements.
Oversee the performance of outsourced security personnel and deliver actionable, constructive feedback to enhance their effectiveness.
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of professional experience in a related role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required to collaborate effectively across departments. Knowledge of project management principles and prior leadership experience are highly desirable. The ability to adapt to evolving priorities and work under tight deadlines is a must.
OND or its equivalent in any relevant discipline.
A minimum of one year of professional experience in a related field is required.
