Job Summary

A highly motivated and achievement-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in the automotive sector is being sought to spearhead and enhance sales outcomes.

The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, cultivate key customer relationships, oversee a sales team, and meet or exceed revenue targets.

The successful applicant should demonstrate extensive industry expertise, a proven history of exceeding vehicle sales targets, and hands-on experience in automotive dealerships, vehicle distribution networks, or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environments.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and achieve measurable business growth. Maintain rigorous adherence to compliance protocols, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Analyze data trends, identify key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Manage stakeholder relationships, resolve escalated issues, and cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies designed to meet organizational goals and exceed revenue projections.

Spearhead the development, guidance, and motivation of the sales team to enhance performance and drive productivity to optimal levels.

Analyze emerging market trends, identify new business prospects, and evaluate potential customer segments to inform strategic decision-making.

Develop and nurture high-value connections with essential customers, distributors, and business partners to foster long-term collaborations and mutual growth.

Monitor sales performance metrics, evaluate market data, and compile regular sales reports to assess progress and identify trends.

Work in partnership with marketing and other departments to create and execute impactful sales campaigns and promotional initiatives.

Perform routine on-site customer engagements and strategic business development discussions.

Oversee the sales pipeline to facilitate prompt conversion of opportunities into revenue.

Collaborate with clients to finalize contract terms, pricing structures, and commercial arrangements to mutual satisfaction.

Analyze competitors’ actions and develop strategic recommendations to preserve and enhance our market position.

Deliver outstanding customer service while efficiently addressing and resolving any customer concerns in a timely manner.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, create detailed budgets, and compile insightful performance reports for executive and managerial assessment.

Ensure adherence to organizational policies, established procedures, and ethical business standards.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.

Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development are highly advantageous.

A minimum of five to eight years of hands-on sales experience in the automotive sector is required.

A minimum of three years of professional experience in a sales management or supervisory capacity is required.

Proven track record in automotive sales, dealership management, fleet sales, or business development within the automotive sector.

Possesses a comprehensive grasp of automotive market trends, effective customer acquisition methodologies, and proficient oversight of dealer network operations.

Proven expertise in conveying ideas clearly, delivering compelling presentations, and negotiating effectively.

Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions. Strong capacity for forward-thinking decision-making and strategic planning. Demonstrated expertise in identifying challenges and implementing effective resolutions.

Exceptional ability to cultivate and sustain robust customer relationships is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is essential.

Proficient in evaluating sales data to derive meaningful, data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Demonstrates exceptional professionalism, integrity, and a keen business sense at all times.
