Sales and Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Sales and Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this key role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the IT sector. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market share, building strong client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT market, including IT managed services, Artificial intelligence and RPA, Software development, cybersecurity, Infrastructure and Cloud computing.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and build brand awareness.

Sales Management:

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients.
Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives.
Set performance goals and provide ongoing coaching and support.
Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 years and above of proven experience in IT sales and business development.
Strong understanding of the IT industry and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
