Responsibilities
Prospecting: Identifying potential clients through networking, online research, and referrals
Client engagement: Reaching out to potential clients to start conversations and build relationships
Business development: Helping clients understand how technology can help them use data across channels
Revenue growth: Working to increase revenue and expand the client base
Customer acquisition: Helping to achieve customer acquisition goals
Technical knowledge
Candidates must have the following:
A thorough understanding of the products and services they sell
Be able to discuss product specifications with clients
Be able to explain complex technical concepts to customers
Sales skills
Have excellent selling skills
Understand sales principles and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Be able to negotiate prices and service agreements
Be able to work well under pressure
Communication skills
Be able to clearly communicate verbally
Be able to craft presentations to demonstrate product features
Be able to write reports and proposals
Be able to follow up with clients to receive product feedback
Other skills
Have a keen interest in IT issues
Have initiative
BSC or HND in Computer Science or other related field
Be able to manage the time and plan your day effectively
Be able to work well on his/her own or in a team
