Technical Writer

Job Brief 

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation that translates complex technical information into clear and concise content for various audiences, including developers, end-users, and stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

Develop, write, and maintain user manuals, technical guides, API documentation, FAQs, and other related materials. 
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather information. 
Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language. 
Ensure documentation adheres to company standards and is consistent in style and format. 
Regularly update documentation to reflect new product features and updates. 
Use visual elements (diagrams, charts, screenshots) to enhance clarity. 
Conduct content reviews and testing to ensure accuracy and usability. 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. 
Proven experience as a Technical Writer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
Proficiency in documentation tools such as [e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word]. 
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and content management systems (CMS). 
Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to non-technical audiences. 
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
Experience with software documentation, APIs, or coding languages (e.g., Python, Java, HTML). 
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles. 
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
