Responsibilities
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including inventory management, food safety compliance, and quality control, to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to standards.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure smooth communication between the administration, front-of-house, and the kitchen.
Maintain high food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards to meet health and safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring proper stock rotation, making supply orders, and minimizing waste to optimize cost efficiency.
Ensure that all equipment functions properly and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, financial reporting, and supply chain management to ensure operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain customer service standards so ensuring that the highest standards of service are achieved. Promote a truly customer focused working environment.
Ensure that effective customer feedback mechanisms are understood and used by all staff and that suggestions for service improvements are passed to management.
Ensure that all staff are trained in service delivery and understand the service culture required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
7 years’ experience in an administrative or supervisory role, preferably in the food sector.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
