Job Description: Deposit Mobilizer
The Personal Banking Officer (Deposit Mobilizer) will be responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing individual and corporate deposits for the bank. The ideal candidate will focus on increasing the bank’s deposit base by developing strong client relationships and offering superior banking products and services. This role is critical to achieving the bank’s deposit growth and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Deposit Mobilization: Actively source and acquire new individual and corporate depositors for savings, current, and fixed deposit accounts.
Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and recommending appropriate products to meet those needs.
Customer Acquisition: Conduct outreach campaigns, prospecting, and lead generation activities to acquire new clients and deposit accounts.
Cross-Selling Products: Proactively cross-sell other banking products and services, including loans, insurance, and investment options, to existing clients.
Client Education: Educate clients on available banking products and services, ensuring they are well-informed about how these can enhance their financial well-being.
Account Management: Monitor and manage client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Performance Targets: Meet and exceed individual and branch performance targets for deposit growth and client acquisition.
Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with trends in the banking industry, competitor products, and customer preferences to adjust strategies as necessary.
Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all client documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with the bank’s internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
BSc/HND in Banking & Finance, Marketing and any other related course
2 years previous work experience in a similar role.
Strong communication and presenting skills.
A confident personality with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High computer literacy.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Good written and oral communication.
Attention to detail.
Assertive, persuasive and self-driven.
