Job description
An operations associate in a financial institution performs administrative and clerical tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the business. They may also be responsible for processing transactions and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
Responsibilities
Processing transactions: Perform transactions in compliance with financial policies and regulations
Preparing loan documents: Prepare loan estimates, closing disclosures, and other loan documents
Onboarding loans: Onboard new loans and renewals
Reviewing files: Review files and track exceptions
Ordering verifications: Order verifications, appraisals, title work, and flood determinations
Filing and releasing liens: File and release liens, such as mortgages, UCC filings, continuations, amendments, and terminations
Posting payments: Post payments, make draws, advances, and construction draws
Drafting pay-off statements: Draft pay-off statements
Closing out escrow accounts: Close out escrow accounts
Qualifications
ND, HND or Bsc holder in any field
Experience working in a financial institution
Strong customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and make decisions
Ability to educate customers on loan products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Microsoft excel knowledge is a must.
