What you will do
Utilize customized, open-source, and off-the-shelf applications and components to design and build innovative web applications.
Responsible for sustaining and improving current web applications along with all internally integrated systems.
Develop and implement innovative features alongside handling modification requests for current software applications.
Collaborate in the continuous enhancement of applications designed to fulfill our customers’ requirements.
Design intuitive templates, databases, and interfaces tailored to user needs, ensuring simplicity and efficiency in their utilization.
Design and implement dynamic, web-based interfaces supported by robust databases to facilitate swift, real-time data exchange and collaboration.
Design and implement external web portals that enable users to seamlessly input and retrieve precise information.
What you bring
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field is required.
Individuals should possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
Recent versions of PHP, with a preference for 7.x, are required.
Professionals should possess expertise in the configuration and utilization of relational database systems, specifically MySQL version 5.6 or higher.
Front-end development is executed through practical implementation with expertise in HTML, CSS (including SCSS, SASS, or LESS), client-side JavaScript, and the jQuery library.
Proficiency in Git version control, along with hands-on experience in its implementation, is required.
Seasoned professionals should have practical exposure to RESTful API integration and development, with prior experience in API creation and documentation being particularly advantageous.
Proficiency in Regis or another NoSQL key-value database represents an advantageous qualification.
Experience with enhancing server and site performance is advantageous.
A highly proficient full-stack developer is preferred, though the role also involves mentoring team members in areas requiring additional expertise.
Additional desirable competencies include advanced proficiency in relevant software applications, familiarity with industry-specific tools, and a strong aptitude for collaborative problem-solving. Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex concepts clearly. Experience with data analysis, project management methodologies, or prior roles in a similar capacity may also be advantageous. Familiarity with compliance standards, regulatory requirements, or quality assurance processes could further strengthen an application.
Laravel 5.x framework (or other comparable MVC frameworks) is required.
Proficiency in designing and implementing Single Page Applications is essential, with hands-on experience required in front-end frameworks such as Cans, Vue, Aurelia, or AngularJS.
Proficiency in utilizing queues and workers within a distributed workload framework, such as Beanstalk, RabbitMQ, Iron.io, or Amazon SQS, is considered advantageous.
Proficiency in utilizing build pipeline tools such as Composer, NPM, Gulp, or Grunt is essential for this role.
Proficient in WordPress development, including expertise in hooks, theme creation, and plugin integration, with a deep understanding of their functional applications.
Proactively identify and resolve issues across web server infrastructure, database systems, security protocols, network configurations, and web technologies to ensure seamless operational performance.
Customize, assemble, deploy, configure, supervise, and troubleshoot server instances, with a primary focus on NGINX environments.
Reporting, maintenance, and test automation tools are developed and managed using PHP, with proficiency in frameworks such as PHPUnit being essential.
Develop and refine internal tools specifically tailored to optimize website operations, while providing troubleshooting and resolution for hardware and software-related concerns.
Proficiency in providing customer and end-user support for digital products, including expertise in web, graphic, and usability design, is required.
