Supermarket Manager

Summary of Responsibilities

To drive the sales revenue through an effective marketing strategy.
Build a strong network to ensure the traffic flow of customers to the supermarket.
Ensure the supermarket meets maximum standard requirements for the display of items to encourage customer purchases.
Ensure adherence to standard hygiene and safety guidelines in the various sections of the supermarket.
Drive all employees to provide exceptional customer service aimed at sustaining the business.
Ensure daily reconciliation of all sales lodgments i.e. cash and electronics payments to ensure the correctness of all transactions.
Maintain inventories and ensure constant availability of stocks to avoid stock out etc.

Academic Qualification and Skills

HND / B.Sc. in Social Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar capacity.
Business acumen and ability to forecast sales trends.
Attention to details and sociable personality.
Ability to work with less supervision and multitask.
Ability to plan and excite strategic sales process.
Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft office.
