Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Planning:

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.

Supplier Management:

Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.

Sourcing and Negotiation:

Source materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.

Inventory and Logistics Coordination:

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the storekeeper to ensure stock availability.
Arrange transportation and delivery schedules for purchased materials.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect and verify the quality of materials upon delivery to ensure they meet specifications.
Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.

Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.

Cost Management:

Monitor procurement expenses and ensure alignment with project budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Reporting:

Prepare and present regular procurement reports to management.
Provide updates on procurement activities and any risks that may impact project timelines.

Requirements

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 3 years experience.
