IT Auditor

Role Summary:

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Auditor to join our Audit and assurance team. The IT Auditor will evaluate the information technology infrastructure, policies, and operations to ensure information systems’ integrity, confidentiality, and availability. This role is critical in identifying potential risks, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to assess their effectiveness and compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.
Evaluate IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security protocols, to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation.
Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans to address high-risk areas.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and the impact of IT on these processes.
Test and evaluate IT controls related to data protection, access controls, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Document audit findings, prepare audit reports, and present recommendations to management.
Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions and improvements.
Stay updated on the latest developments in IT auditing, cybersecurity, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT).
Provide guidance and support to junior auditors in the execution of IT audit assignments.
Assist in the development and maintenance of audit methodologies and tools to enhance the effectiveness of the audit function.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent are highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or a related field.
Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in auditing techniques and tools, as well as knowledge of various IT platforms and applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
