IT Admin System Officer (Graduate Intern)

Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance and Monitoring:

Assist in the daily monitoring of systems and other IT infrastructure.
Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation.

User Support:

Provide first-line support to end-users for IT-related issues, resolving technical problems, and answering queries.
Escalate complex issues to management team members when necessary.

Software and Hardware Management:

Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
Assist in setting up and maintaining hardware components including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.

Security and Backup:

Implement and monitor security measures to protect IT systems and data from breaches or attacks.
Perform regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery processes are in place.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incidents.
Generate IT assets reports and regular updates.
Track all IT-related requisition expenses for optimal spending.

Compliance and Best Practices:

Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements.

Project Assistance:

Support IT projects,such as system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 0 – 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
Certifications: Any related additional certifications are advantageous.
