Business Development Officer

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager at May Publishing Ltd, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
This role is ideal for an individual with significant industry experience and the leadership skills to drive strategic initiatives.
The position demands a combination of business acumen, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to drive new business and revenue growth in alignment with company goals.
Identify and build relationships with potential clients and business partners.
Lead negotiations, close deals, and manage long-term client relationships.
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for expansion or improvement in service offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Track and report on business development performance, setting and achieving targets.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities to refine business strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
Strong understanding of [industry-specific knowledge or sector] and market trends.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach.
