Job Description
Develop, implement, and manage legal policies, procedures, and documents.
Research and analyze legal issues and advise management on the legal implications of their decisions.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Provide legal advice and guidance to management on all legal issues.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters.
Represent the company in legal proceedings and hearings.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and other legal advisors.
Oversee regulatory and compliance matters.
Develop and manage the legal department budget.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in law, a license to practice law, and several years of experience as a lawyer or a legal office
Additionally, excellent knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations in your industry and jurisdiction is necessary, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are also important for this role.
