Copywriter / Social Media Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and creative Copywriter/Social Media Handler to join our team and elevate our online. presence.

Key Responsibilities

Write, edit, and publish engaging posts across various social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Strategically grow and increase the follower base across all Nairametrics’ social media platforms.
Optimize social media posts (language, tone, and message) tailored to our target audience’s behavior.
Select appealing images and videos to enhance posts and captivate the audience.
Update social media pages with compelling company news and announcements.
Collaborate with internal teams to create advertising posts for events, job openings, and product releases.
Monitor, track, and report on social media insights, including traffic, engagement, shares, and conversion rates.
Implement advertising techniques, such as promotions and competitions, to boost brand awareness.
Respond promptly and accurately to questions and comments on our social media pages.
Network with clients and industry professionals to foster relationships.
Undertake other tasks assigned by the Digital Media Lead.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years experience.
Proven experience as a Copywriter or Social Media Handler.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to optimize content for different audiences and platforms.
Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
Creative mindset with the ability to select engaging visuals to complement text.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
