This role enhances the visual aesthetics of the company’s online platforms, focusing on creating compelling product listings, advertisements, and promotional materials that align with the brand’s identity and engage customers.

Key Responsibilities
Visual Strategy & Creative Direction:
Develop and execute the entire creative direction and visual strategy for the company’s ecommerce business.
Ensure brand consistency and alignment of visual designs with the company’s identity and broader business objectives.
Create high-impact visual content that enhances the customer experience and promotes sales.
Continuously evolve and improve design processes, keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
Product Listings & Promotional Design:
Design visually engaging product listings, ensuring all elements (images, descriptions, layouts) are optimized for customer interaction and sales conversion.
Create advertisements, banners, and promotional materials for e-commerce sales channels to drive traffic and engagement.
Manage advanced product photography, photo editing, and video content to enhance the appeal of products across online platforms.
Work on developing custom graphics and creative assets for seasonal campaigns and promotions, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Brand Identity & Customer Engagement:
Oversee all visual content creation, ensuring it aligns with the company’s branding, style, and tone.
Lead initiatives to increase customer engagement through effective design, ensuring the online store has a visually appealing and intuitive layout.
Stay informed about new trends in graphic design, UI/UX, and digital marketing to continuously improve the design strategy.
Advanced Design & Creative Projects:
Manage complex design projects such as creating dedicated landing pages, sales event graphics, and specialized visuals for promotional campaigns.
Oversee creative direction for product photography and video content, ensuring all media enhances brand recognition and customer experience.
Video Production & Content Creation:
Lead the production and editing of video content, including promotional videos, product showcases, and other digital media content.
Ensure high-quality video production, aligning with the company’s branding and digital marketing strategies.
Work with New Media Supervisor to integrate video content into the broader content marketing strategy, optimizing it for customer engagement and conversions.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Partner with other departments such as marketing, product, and business development to ensure cohesive and effective visual communication strategies.
Collaborate with senior management to align design initiatives with broader business goals, such as increasing online sales and brand visibility.
Foster a collaborative environment within the design team, encouraging creativity and high-quality standards.
Work closely with the marketing, product, and senior management teams to ensure that the design aligns with broader company goals and marketing strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a major e-commerce platform such as Jumia, Tiktok or Temu. Candidates with experience in this category are preferred.
Proficient in operating various design software tools, with profound artistic skills, unique visual expression ability, and good understanding of color coordination.
Familiar with photography, image editing, video shooting and post-production. Hand drawing skills are a plus.
