The Business Development Manager at SIAO Partners will play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and enhancing client satisfaction. This position requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the professional services industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:

Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with SIAO Partners’ growth objectives.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with prospective clients.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work closely with internal teams, including Audit, Tax, Advisory, and HR Consulting, to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Collaborate with marketing to create compelling proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.

Networking & Brand Promotion:

Represent SIAO Partners at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Leverage professional networks to generate new leads and business opportunities.

Sales Performance & Reporting:

Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market feedback to senior management.

Contract Negotiation & Deal Closing:

Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Close deals effectively, ensuring alignment with the firm’s financial and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the professional services sector, preferably in accounting, consulting, or advisory services.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment and regulatory landscape.

Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

The role may require occasional travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in business development activities across different regions.
