Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate will focus on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks related to physical security operations, ensuring the safety of clients, personnel, and assets.
This role is critical in supporting our mission to provide secure environments for clients while maintaining operational excellence and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Identification and Assessment:
Evaluate potential threats to client sites, personnel, and operational facilities, including theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and environmental hazards.
Conduct comprehensive site risk assessments and recommend tailored security measures.
Threat Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor trends in physical security threats and vulnerabilities, including crime statistics, regional instability, and natural disaster risks.
Analyze incident reports and data to identify patterns and emerging risks.
Policy and Procedure Development:
Assess existing security policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for effectiveness.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance physical security measures and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Client Site Security Planning:
Collaborate with operations teams to design and implement customized security plans for client locations.
Support proposal development with risk analyses tailored to client-specific needs.
Incident Response and Mitigation:
Assist in developing and maintaining incident response plans, ensuring readiness for various scenarios such as trespassing, theft, or emergency evacuations.
Conduct after-action reviews to refine processes and enhance preparedness.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to physical security operations.
Stay informed about industry standards, certifications, and best practices, such as those established by ASIS International.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in risk analysis or security operations, preferably in the physical security industry.
Familiarity with physical security technologies such as access control systems, surveillance systems, and alarm systems.
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and threat assessment methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
