Job Summary:
ProForce Air Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Control Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company’s stringent quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. Your role will involve conducting thorough inspections, maintaining quality documentation, and working closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This position is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and the reputation of ProForce Air Systems as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection: Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and recommend changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Non-Conformity Management: Investigate non-conformities, document findings, and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Supplier Audits: Conduct audits of suppliers to ensure they meet ProForce Air Systems’ quality requirements and supplier standards.
Training and Development: Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices to foster a quality-focused culture.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all quality control activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Customer Feedback: Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify quality trends and areas for improvement.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
Statistical Analysis: Use statistical methods and tools to analyze quality data and provide insights for decision-making.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that quality control equipment is calibrated, maintained, and operated correctly.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using quality control tools, such as inspection gauges, calipers, and micrometers. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS) is required.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and document quality processes.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough inspections.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve quality goals and maintain a quality-focused mindset.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degrees: Master’s degree in relevant field is a plus

SALARY EXPECTATION : N200,000 – N 250,000
