Position Summary:
The Programme Manager is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of programmes and partnership management in the Foundation.
This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for impact investing and a strong understanding of the Nigerian impact investing ecosystem.
The Programme Manager will:
Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to guide the Foundation’s direction, enhance corporate brand visibility, and ensure effective governance and program implementation.
Initiate and develop concept notes for innovative programs in the Foundation’s focus areas, and conduct in-depth research on Nigerian National Advisory Board on Impact Investing (NABII) Strategic Pillars to drive knowledge mobilization for policy framework development and implementation in the impact investing ecosystem.
Strengthen agenda-setting and lead the Foundation’s advocacy in policy development and administration within the Nigerian impact investment industry.
Develop, frame, and execute the Programme Unit’s Annual Operating Plan for the Foundation
Identify, create, and develop grant proposals to secure funding from diverse agencies to support the implementation of the Foundation’s annual operating plan.
Design and implement innovative fundraising and capacity-building strategies to support sustainable sectoral programs annually.
Develop and manage relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and forums to enhance the Foundation’s brand equity and collaborative impact.
Engage with strategic partners in the organized private sector and government for funding and policy administration, and represent the Foundation’s Strategic Pillars to promote impact investing best practices in both local and international fora.
Oversee program office activities, including planning, administration, budgeting, documentation, procurement, logistics, report-writing, and coordination of the Foundation’s events and programmes, to achieve the annual operating plan.
Qualification:
Minimum of Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Public Policy or related disciplines
Experience: 8+ in programme management. Proven track record in non-profit programme design and management, fundraising and grant cycle management, and research development and analytics reporting among others.
