Front Desk Officer/ Office Assistant Humanities Teacher (Geography and History)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk/Office Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, managing the front desk, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet visitors, parents, and students in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
Provide administrative support to the administrative team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events as required.
Maintain accurate records and databases, including student information and attendance.
Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as photocopying, scanning, and binding documents.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
1-2 years of experience in an administrative or front desk role.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.

Working Conditions

The Front Desk/Office Assistant will work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions.
The role requires sitting for extended periods, with occasional standing and walking.
The Front Desk/Office Assistant may be required to work occasional evenings or weekends.
