Job Summary
As a network and collaboration engineer, you will be responsibility for deploying, manage and support enterprise networks.
Configure, install, support, and troubleshoot voice, video and enterprise network equipment.
Your role will include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems, as necessary.
Oversee and execute planned network maintenance activity while minimizing impact to services.
You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
Provide technical leadership on operational and project related work.
Design and implement plans to introduce new technology into the voice, video and enterprise networks while minimizing network outages and insuring a seamless end-user experience.
Collaborate with assigned team responsible to maintain and enhance the overall performance and availability of network infrastructure solutions to include data, video, voice, and wireless.
Analyze technologies and recommend upgrades/changes based on assessments of the organization’s current and future network technology needs. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying enterprise solution architecture, coordinating installations and migrations, and managing SLAs for IP telephony applications.
You may also be required to troubleshoot LAN and WAN hardware systems and respond to customer inquiries. Performance of the solutions will be evaluated from time to time as deem fit by the organization.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable solutions that is in line with customer requirement. You will be involved in project delivery and support activities from time to time as deem fit.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.

Conduct thorough analysis of service results and respond to any escalated service delivery issues in a timely manner.
Design solutions and create implementation and support models for technology encompassing a specific specialization or platform.
Configure, install, support, and troubleshoot voice, video and enterprise network equipment.
Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed and performed.
Review reports to ensure all services are completely and successfully delivered. Proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered. Use metrics to improve processes.
Assist in the development of voice and video network operations processes, procedures, and documentation.
Interface with the business users to elicit and define network communications requirements.
Perform other duties as requested.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
Establishing the customer environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
Analyzing existing VoIP networks and computer systems.
Developing architecture plans for voice and data services.
Installing network hardware modules including IP and PBX communication servers.
Designing and implementing Cisco Unity systems.
Troubleshooting VoIP network issues.
Analyzing and upgrading network security systems and protocols
Professional Certificates
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CCNP – Collaboration (Cisco Certified Network Professional – Collaboration), Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional – Security), ITIL, MSCA, MSCE.
Experience:
CCNP level certification. Substantiated experience may substitute.
Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) and SIP Trucking
Cisco UC Manager Automation
Cisco Voice IOS Gateways with H.323, MGCP
Cisco Jabber, WebEx, Zoom, etc.
Cisco Contact Center (UCCX/PCCE)
Analytical and problem- solving ability.
Cisco Unity Voicemail
Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS), Telepresence Server
Cisco IP Phones
In-depth understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
