Overview:
General
Eligibility This “Call for tender” is open for Individual registered vendors.
Purpose YIPDI in partnership with ACF implementing project tittle empowering and nurturing resilience, integration and community health in Borno State (ENRICH) is a Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) project location Gubio and Magumeri LGA of Borno State with funding from the Barau of Humanitarian assistance (BHA/USAID).

In a bid to achieve the objectives of this project, YIPDI wishes to engage the services of vendors in procuring the following items to kick-start the implementation of the project,
ITEM SPECIFICATION
Car Rentals/Transportation:
Transportation of Project staff to LGAs and within Maiduguri Metropolitan Council(MMC)
Transportation of materials(Pick up) to the LGAs,
Truck transportation of NFI kits Etc.
Construction/Rehabilitation
VIP Latrine Construction/Rehabilitation.
Emergency Latrine Construction/Rehabilitation
Dislodgements
Provide and apply complete painting of stanchion stand with aluminium paint.
Floor Slab
Plumbing.
Tilling
Operation and Maintenance Operation and Maintenance of Boreholes
Borehole Rehabilitation Boreholes rehabilitation at Gubio and Magumeri LGA.
Provide and Installation solar panels mono crystalline panels.
Installation of Chlorine feeder.
Construction of fetching points.
Construction of soak pit.
Perimeter fence to protect chlorine feeder, water point base and overhead stanchion.
Visibility
Dabbing of YIPDI logo.

Technical Assessment – Assessing the levels of the solar powered boreholes for repairs.

Repairs to solar powered boreholes.

Evaluation Process
Applications will be collected throughout the announced period for tender and evaluate on a rolling basis.
The successful vendor identified in this evaluation shall be informed accordingly and a Request for Quotation (RFQ) shall be sent to them.
Preparation and Submission of Applications (Call for Tender)
Language All applications should be made in English languages, any languages other than English may be automatically eliminated by YIPDI without a further request for clarification and/or completion.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All vendor should write letter of expression of interest on company letter headed.
The subject of the application emails to be sent to the above email account MUST contain the reference number of the call for tender (BHA/YIPDI-ACF/001/12/2024).
Application emails which do not contain the reference number of the call for tender may not be taken into consideration.
Documents that MUST be submitted in the application Submissions should include:
Vendor’s Updated company Profile (Indicating years of experience(s), past performance record, Previous Locations of services, previous organizations worked with).
Tax Clearance certificate TCC (FIRS) or JTB(BO-IRS)
Tax Identification Number(TIN number)
Company Bank details
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Company account details, invoices, company name, company email address, company letter headed MUST be the same.
All vendors must present in their application how they qualify to provide the needed services according to sector.
Minimum Requirements
Submission of the document requested.
Ability to deliver items to Magumeri and Gubio LGA, Borno State.
Validity period All applications will be valid until 31st December 2024.
Evaluation and selection
Step 1: Call for tender – The applications (call for tender) will be reviewed by an evaluation committee against the minimum requirements defined above.
Step 2: Issuance of Request for Quotation – YIPDI will send to successful vendor, a Request for Quotation (RFQ), containing specifications of the above items to be procured.
All the applications will be received through the email address stipulated above.
YIPDI will not be held responsible for any failure regarding transmission and/or receipt of emails.
YIPDI will not accept any liability and/or cannot be kept liable for not receiving email submissions that are rejected by its servers due to the excessive size of the email (i.e. larger than 50 MB), virus, spam Or the vendor should submit the expression of interest (EOI) packaged and sealed to YIPDI head office at No. 4 Engineering Quarters, Polo Road, Maiduguri, Borno State.
YIPDI reserves the right to cancel the application, evaluation and/or the award process and reject all applications at any time prior to award of a Contract without incurring any liability to the applicants. Only shortlisted vendor will be contact.
YIPDI implements several projects and programs. Applications to this Call for tender will be considered for only those projects that require an independent evaluation according to donor and/or YIPDI evaluation requirements
Send an email with the call for tender reference number BHA/YIPDI-ACF/001/12/2024 to: log.procurement.officer@yipdi.org and put tender@yipdi.org in copy of the email. Eligible vendors, are to indicate in their application the aspect they wish to apply for.
