Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting and managing various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilites
Calculation of VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension and other taxable according to Nigeria law.
Ensure effectiveness of Account payable process which includes checking of documents, cost, approvals and payments.
To liaise with customers, vendors, bankers, consultants, FIRS/LIRS or other government officials for data and other matters.
Responding to requests for information and resolving issues swiftly.
Answering client queries on invoicing and visiting clients when required.
Following up with payments and bill submission.
Provide necessary documentation and support during internal audits.
Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transaction.
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile.
Manage invoices and ensure that payments are made according to the company policies.
Experience in vendor management.
And any other responsibility delegated by the manager
Education, Qualification and Experience
HND / B/Sc and other certifications and training.
Preferred person should have between 3 to 5 years experiences as an Account Officer with Degree in Accountancy.
Working experience in Banking, Investment, account firm or related field.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in MS suit, google suite and other accounting software.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Tech enthusiast.
Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines.
