Job Summary:
The Blocks Production Officer will provide comprehensive support to the Production Officer in managing the day-to-day operations and manufacturing workflows for MSHE building blocks and associated machinery. This position includes responsibilities such as coordinating production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.
Oversee and execute core job functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality across assigned projects or departments. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices while fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
Provide assistance to the Production Officer in directing the manufacturing team and managing every facet of the production workflow.
Assist in creating and executing production schedules to ensure alignment with customer demand and adherence to project timelines.
Monitor production processes to assess operational efficiency, identify potential enhancements in workflow, output, and overall quality standards, and implement strategic improvements to drive continuous operational excellence.
Support the execution of quality control initiatives and established protocols to verify that products consistently adhere to specified requirements.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams to expedite resolution of issues.
Deliver instruction and support to production personnel regarding correct operational methods and safety guidelines.
Evaluate production data and compile detailed reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for submission to the Production Officer.
Routine inspections of machinery and equipment must be performed to identify any faults or irregularities, which should be reported without delay.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing and Inventory, to synchronize production requirements efficiently.
Suggest enhancements to existing workflows and propose innovative solutions to bolster overall operational productivity.
Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards and mandates.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or computer science, along with at least five years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in project management methodologies, data analysis, and strategic planning is essential, as is familiarity with industry-standard software and tools. Strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of driving results are required. Additionally, candidates should possess problem-solving acumen and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with professional certifications or industry-specific credentials may be necessary.
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a closely related discipline is required for this role.
