Job Summary:
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the tailoring production process to ensure high-quality output, timely delivery, and efficient use of resources. This role involves managing a team of tailors and support staff, maintaining quality standards, optimizing workflow, and ensuring client satisfaction in alignment with Company’s brand values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement production schedules to meet client orders and deadlines.
Allocate tasks and ensure the workforce operates efficiently.
Address and resolve production-related staff issues.
Supervise tailors, cutters, and other production staff.
Inspect finished outfits to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards.
Implement quality assurance processes to minimize errors and defects.
Work closely with designers and clients to maintain style and design accuracy.
Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve production efficiency.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions in tailoring and outfit production.
Minimize waste of materials and optimize resource utilization.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Collaborate with the sales and design teams to align production with customer demands.
Prepare regular production reports detailing progress, challenges, and solutions.
Key Requirements:
BSc/HND in Business Administration, Fashion Technology, or related fields.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a tailoring or fashion production company.
Strong understanding of tailoring techniques and garment production processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
