Product Manager

Our client, an insurance and asset management company is looking to hire an experienced and innovative Product Manager who will be responsible for the development and lifecycle management of their solution(s). The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, completing market research to find out more about competitor products or customer needs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead product development, strategy, and redesign from concept through development and manufacturing to market launch.
Determine customer needs by identifying and conducting research to inform product decisions and market positioning.
Recommend the scope and direction of current and future product lines, evaluating new ideas, product modifications, or packaging updates.
Continuously assess market competition by comparing the company’s products against competitors’ offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Work with sales, marketing, and production teams to establish objectives, refine strategies, and ensure seamless product delivery and performance.
Partner with the sales team to develop strategies that drive market share and revenue growth, providing actionable data from field insights.
Prepare and present detailed short and long-term sales forecasts, special reports, and analyses to guide strategic decision-making.
Analyze requirements, evaluate ROI, and establish schedules with engineering and manufacturing teams for timely launches.
Set product pricing using market research, cost analysis, and anticipated sales volume, including customized order considerations.
Ensure product development timelines are met by coordinating with team members, assigning tasks, and overseeing quality assurance and testing.
Identify and nurture relationships with new and existing product partnerships to expand market reach and innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in a tech or SaaS environment.
Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with collaboration tools like Azure DevOps and data visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Power BI).
High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams to deliver finely tuned product marketing strategies
Demonstrable knowledge of SEM (search engine marketing) and online advertising.
